The Official Gazette of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has published a decision by the Congolese Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ARPTC) establishing the procedures for authorization and declaration of personal data processing, in accordance with the 2023 Digital Code. The text specifies the categories of processing subject to prior authorization, as well as those simply subject to declaration and those exempt from any formalities. The decision also details the procedures for submitting files to the Data Protection Authority.
