In Africa, data protection is a strategic challenge in the era of artificial intelligence. Without strong safeguards, citizens' information may be exploited, weakening both privacy and the digital sovereignty of the continent.
Strengthening data protection lays the foundation for responsible and sustainable AI. It allows Africa to keep control of its digital resources while building trustworthy innovation that serves its peoples.
